Who We Are

A different route back to learning

Aurovia was created to support students who are struggling within mainstreameducation—whetherdue to SEND, anxiety, disengagement, exclusion, or complexpersonal circumstances.We understand that many learners with additional needs require flexibility, patience,and a bespoke approach. Our work prioritises relationship–building, emotional safety,and structured support to help students re–engage with learning at their own pace.

Our support includes:

  • One–to–one and small–group academic provision
  • Alternative education pathways for KS2–KS4
  • Re–engagement programmes for students out of school
  • Support for SEND, SEMH needs, anxiety, and low attendance
  • Structured reintegrationplanning with schools
  • Interest–led and strengths–based learning approaches

All programmes are adapted to suit the learner’s needs, including those withEHCPs or identified additional support requirements.

Subjects We Cover

Broad academic support,tailored to each learnerAurovia offers teaching across a range of core and foundation subjects, withlearning adapted to each student’s ability, confidence, and learning profile. Forstudents with SEND, support is broken down into manageable steps and deliveredusing appropriate strategies and resources.

  • English–reading, writing, spelling, grammar, comprehension, andcreative writing
  • Mathematics–number, calculation, reasoning, problem–solving, andfunctional maths
  • Science–accessible Biology, Chemistry, and Physics concepts whereappropriate

  • Humanities–History and Geography
  • Functional Skills (English & Maths)
  • PSHE and life skills
  • Study skills and learning strategies
  • Preparation for GCSEsor equivalent routes
